Verify a MYSTHOOD seal
Choose a seal record file or paste one below. This page checks the signature in your own browser, against the key
MYSTHOOD publishes openly — nothing you paste is uploaded, and MYSTHOOD is not asked for permission or told that you
looked. That is the point: a proof only its owner can run is not a proof.
Signature, attribution, steward and timestamp will be checked. The content comparison is skipped and reported as skipped.

What a valid seal does not mean
- It does not prove the poster owns the underlying rights. A seal on a stolen photo faithfully records that this account uploaded it here at this time — that is evidence, not a grant of rights.
- It says nothing about platforms other than MYSTHOOD.
- It does not make anyone immune from a claim. It makes specific facts checkable by someone who does not trust either side.
Stated plainly because a provenance system that overstates itself is worse than none: the first time someone reads
it as a claim of ownership and it is not, everything else it says stops being believed too.
